THE STORY OF MY COUSINS, by Henry S. Salt (Watts and Co., pp. 70, 2s. 6d. Net) is a pleasant little book about animals. In it the writer describes the cats and dogs and the tame rook who have been his companions. A much-loved animal, sympathetically and simply discussed, can hardly fail to make an attractive story, and, though the material of this book is quite extraordinary slight, it will certainly give pleasure to people who share the author’s tastes.
