Kim is author, independent scholar, consultant and speaker on animal rights. For four decades, Kim has had a front seat in the animal rights movement, starting at the grassroots in England and working his way up to leadership positions at some of the best-known organizations in the world. In 2014 he published his memories Growl: Life Lessons, Hard Truths, and Bold Strategies from an Animal Advocate.

He is a consultant with Tier im Recht, a based Zurich based animal foundation, on projects preserving animal rights history. The British Library acquired the Kim Stallwood Archive in 2020.

Simon is a renowned activist. For decades he has campaigned against hunting at great personal costs. He has successfully obtain convictions under the Hunting Act. He also co-founded, with his wife Jaine, the National Anti Snaring Campaign and has been instrumental in achieving a ban on snares in Wales. When not campaigning he is busy co-running West Sussex Wildlife Protection.

Simon is a leading authority on both Henry Salt and Ernest Bell. Simon and Jaine have just published Skirmishes with Savages.
