
The Shropshire Archive holds a ‘Salt Collection’, although not mentioning Henry Salt it gives a brief outline of the Salt’s of Shrewsbury, Shropshire
Richard Williams included a very interesting list of possible ‘Salt of Staffordshire, Shropshire, etc’ on Genealogy.com some time ago. It appears to include Henry Salt’s gt.gt.grandfather Thomas Salt.
The Reverend John Hawksworth is mentioned in detail on page 188 of “The Life and Times of Selina, Countess of Huntingdon”— his surname is given as Hawkesworth.
In affectionate remembrance of Charles Francis Le Champion Moller who died from the effects of a fall from his horse near Charlottesville Virginia US the 24th Sept 1883.
Amongst the photos left by Henry Salt was one entitled the Rev Hawkesworth.
