Animals’ Rights considered in Relation to Social Progress

Animals’ Rights considered in Relation to Social Progress. By Henry S. Salt, London: Humanitarian League, 53, Chancery Lane. 12mo. pp. 131. 3d.

We are glad to see this very cheap reprint of Mr. Salt’s “Animals’ Rights,” a book which may be regarded as the text book of the humanitarian aspect of vegetarianism. Those of our readers who wish to read a sober statement of the rights of animals in connection with sport, flesh-eating, and vivisection, cannot do better than buy this cheap edition of “Animals’ Rights.”
